aUGH working on a conversation system is so slow
I mean,
any first time writing a new kind of system is slow, I don't know from experience which design patterns to use, or what common mistakes to avoid
but damnit it feels annoying being so slow and constantly having to second-guess everything

Having a team that cares about doing preproduction separate from the concept phase. And cares about doing both as quick as possible.
Is so much better than the many projects I’ve done that stretch the concept phase halfway across the deadline and end up not doing any meaningful preproduction.
