Så I just got my confirmation status - I am no longer unemployed aka I am a freelancer now. This was a very risky decision to make, så if you happen to know someone who would have some suitable gigs for me, please let me know 🙏

In the meantime, I will continue figuring out what Finns want

I was granted legal aid when appealing to Migri and the lawyer was nice enough to compliment my business and appreciate the work I’ve put in building it så far 🥹🥹🥹🥹I needed it.

Also @kestinen.bsky.social did a good job with the draft for the appeal 😎

“U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau on Wednesday slammed European NATO allies for prioritizing their own defense industry over American arms suppliers, according to 3 NATO diplomats”

Didn’t they want Europe not to rely on the US as much anymore? How do they think it works?

Our cat has a little hut, a scratching post with a cat bed in it, a warm cat bed

Her favourite bed is on the cardboard shopping bag ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Saw a video where Zelensky got a standing ovation at the Irish parliament.

Almost shocking after having seen all the self-proclaimed Irish anti-imperialists simping Putin online

Struggling to fall asleep and thinking about that time I couldn’t fall asleep in my early teens. My grandpa woke up (he’d always get up at 5:30), noticed I was awake and asked what I wanted for breakfast. ‘Potato pancakes’, - I answered, randomly. The man went to the kitchen and prepared it all.

If I need to describe Ukrainians with one video today, it might be this one: this is Dnipro, after Russia bombed the city. Attack might’ve damaged this car. But it didn’t damage its spirit ✊💃🏻

I remember how getting covid for the first time in late 2023 felt like a throwback to 2020. Now failing to find time or energy to study feels like a throwback to 2016 when all my peers were stressing about it

Sometimes I feel like I would like to get back to French. It was my third language, I studied it at school, was highly motivated but the teacher told me multiple times I ain’t shit, I felt very shy speaking it and it just… pushed me away for ever.
