However I will take my little nonbinary joys where I can get them while still being aware that sometimes that joy is unevenly distributed, and noting and making space for that too.

Also there's a big thing in here obviously wrt how trans people who were afab can experience this while a lot of trans women/transfems don't experience the same freedom to be butch without being mis/degendered.

It's going to be a lovely conference and it is organised by kind and obliging scholars and I am going to enjoy it! But it is far away and involves several trains and a plane and many hours of travel, and I am just a small tired bird.

especially in these incredibly high tension times, you should simply not make even super obvious jokes about killing people on social media websites imo
and I get why websites like Bluesky are taking this stuff rather seriously at this particular point in time, personally

In line with much other research, the article *does* find that trans kids are more likely to experience bullying than many of their peers. But screen time is not the problem - transphobia is.

No, it's not. And I do feel like some of the bans/suspensions that have been handed out to more prominent PoC are deeply dodgy in themselves. But my heart goes out to the Palestinian accounts who keep getting banned even when they don't spam because it definitely hits them a lot harder.

I am feeling extra irritable today and my friend's account is gone AGAIN and I am just not able to be upset over a famous guy getting a suspension for saying he wanted to kill a named person through a named method.
