More than 200,000 Danish citizens have signed a petition to buy California as a response to Trump’s attempt to take Greenland.

They say they will provide Californians with “rule of law, universal health care, fact-based politics, and a lifetime supply of Danish pastries.”

What makes this statement by Emmanuel Macron so unprecedented is, for the first time, a leading European ally is equating Trump with Putin.

“No intimidation or threat will influence us - neither in Ukraine, nor in Greenland, nor anywhere else in the world.”

EVERYTHING has changed.

Ffs everyone in the media. Please stop calling everything a ‘u turn’ even if it’s a slowing down, watering down or a tweak to a policy. Save the ‘u turn’ for when the opposite policy is introduced in a quick turnaround. These are most often not that.
