Am I the only one that finds it trouble how adept AI is at conjuring nightmare worlds and vaguely terrifying post-apocalyptic dystopias...? (L'image est de Raul Cantu, en passant)

Nothing Trump is doing makes sense...unless you stop and ask yourself "well...hold on a minute...what if he's a Russian asset?" Then everything snaps 100% into focus...

Compared to 'fascism on the march' politics in the US, Québec's politics sometimes seem quaint. In my town I came across this poster glued to a wall, looking like it had been beamed in from 1972. But that 'oui' takes on a new urgence, with U.S. absorption seeming to loom not far on the horizon...

In case you were wondering why we were booing the anthem...it's because of assholes like this (p.s. he's one of the Trump influencers that was found to be on the Russian payroll...so clearly a man of great character and integrity...)

Try and find a better image than this one to sum up MAGA morality and their vision for the future... (From an article in the Washington Post feb. 1)

I'm going to not talk about Donald Trump. I'm going to talk about Gene Szafran. 1970's sci-fi cover art is a wild genre that I love even more now that it's fifty years later because...we actually live in the future now. This man was a master of the genre...or so I say anyway...

This is insane right? How an unelected billionaire is the de facto head of government of your country and the chief of an unofficial pseudo-governmental department dedicated to...wrecking the government? Did even gilded age plutocrats abuse American democracy this blatantly?
