This is a though provoking video on why racism is so bad in the US. The psychological wage of being white explains why so many poor white folks vote against their interests. I may pin this video.

This lady fosters dogs and prepares them for forever homes. This is her latest foster meeting her new parents for the first time. It’s heartwarming and a departure from the less kind stuff I normally post. Foster parents are heroes.

As a former Lieutenant Commander in the Navy, I approve of this message. We who served took an oath to protect the constitution. The current administration has violated that oath.

Finally members of the Senate are waking up. A group of 6 have formed a Fight Club which will oppose Schumer and force a fight on our behalf. This video is a good discussion of this battle

Werewolves are my favorite monster. I have to agree with this list of the best non-CGI werewolves in movie history.

I am definitely one of the sensitive folks described in this view. I tear up at sad movies, family gatherings and animal videos. Heck I teared up at a part of the Everyone Loves Raymond reunion when they were talking about Peter Boyle

Thank goodness I don’t eat Cambell soups anymore. When I was a poor kid they were a staple of my diet. I am going to check a couple cans today. Damn corporations.

Another article on how the orange Imbecile is dragging the US further behind the rest of modern world. Every article written be anyone should be in the tone of this one.

America elected a simpleton and the wreck he leaves behind could be permanent

My wife and I were thinking about the holidays and all the people in our lives that we can only talk to through our memories because they are no longer with us. We are blessed to have each other to share our burdens each in our own way and take the pain out of loss.

The changes in healthcare championed by the GOP are just more scams to make money for the wealthy and their corporations. Too bad half our country can’t see it

Just a FYI, as a Boomer I have had the privilege to see some history in our country. I hate to say it but our country is diminished in being a beacon of opportunity and hope in the world. I blame a lot on the oligarchs

No surprise that thousands of twitter accounts are Russian bots. Also no surprise that they are able to influence the Red rubes

Walmart has always been known as a lousy place to work. I avoid that place as much as I can. The Walton family can GTH as far as I am concerned. That family has done incalculable damage to this country.

Marjorie Taylor Greene came into Congress in 2021 worth about $700,000. She leaves five years later worth around $25,000,000. 😳 Congress is just a giant insider-trading scheme.

FU, let’s lower standards for teachers that way they can pay the teaches with less education less. That should improve the state scores in that dumb ass state. Damn I thought SC was bad.

Funny and sad at the same time. Teachers are already leaving the profession in droves and now their reclassification as will make it even more difficult to recruit them.

And there it is, the real reason why the Dept of Education has downgraded certain careers as no longer professional. You can be folks in the administration are getting kickbacks from the equity companies controlling student loans.
