I am Saimi Hanma (formerly Kelly Brenner) and the author of The Naturalist at Home as well as Nature Obscura. I'm also an artist and photographer, focusing largely on invertebrates.

Today's Nudivember species has bounced all around taxonomically from a species being split into 3 and then a genus change and is now Trinchesia caerulea.

I've been doing #Nudivember but haven't shared my stuff yet because I'm still finding my way back to drawing...

But if I don't share now I never will, so here's a selection of my favourites from the first half of the month:
Hypselodoris obscura, a blue nudibranch with yellow highlights, sketched in fine-line pend Felimida luteorosea, a delicate circular nudibranch which is genuinely the same colour as Mr Blobby. Fine-line pens again Pencil sketches of: Cerberilla ambonensis (unfinished, looks like it has overlapping armour plates), tritonia myrakeenae (tiny translucent Trapdoor slug), meliba pilosa (scruffy cactus ballsack), doto greenamyeri (this one is so wild, it has soft circular doughnuts on its back and I don't know why) Double page of pencil sketches: ardeadoris electra (soft, white, looks like a frilly haribo foam gummy), halgerda Theobroma (oval with a tortoiseshell pattern), diaphoradoris mitsurri (like if a tiny bunny was a water Pokémon with a rose instead of a tail), cerebilla tanna (listen for some reason this one looks like it has a massive rack and existential dread), tambja affinis (black stripy neon slug), and two terellia annulata (sentient noodle mass)
