Construction workers told me that the province intervened via the Department of Labour and had them remove the diverter. I haven't confirmed that info in any way however.

At signalized intersections it can be difficult because of the space needed by tractor trailers. Traffic lights can be changed to eliminate the conflict

Methane rules? Weakening. EV mandate? Paused. Oil & gas emissions cap? On the chopping block. New LNG plants? Back in fashion. Canada can still choose a better path. But it starts with honesty, accountability, and climate policy aligned with science, not petrostate logic.

Eep. If I was cycling in a group like that I would be bunching together and taking the lane to prompt drivers not to overtake. But tricky here because of the archaic cycling rules.

Also surprised to see that some rural folks still rely on their bicycle for independent transport, perhaps not surprising given rural poverty and the cost of car ownership
