Sometimes I make drinks. Often I make ill-advised statements. I also write code and often fail at parenting good. I also make noise with ukuleles.
BBQ flavored confusion is good, but have you tried the GOCHUJANG FLAVORED CONFUSION?

Instead of making a Calvin And Hobbes movie, just make a movie about them trying to make it and Bill Waterson murders all of them like it's a John Wick movie

A hill on which I will die: Calvin and Hobbes is one of the great pieces of 20th-century American literature in no small part because it was never turned into anything aside from a comic strip. Leave it be.

Just wanted to say that I really appreciate your bsky package(s) for dotnet. Super well-done and easy to use.

The help I needed on the FE was knowing some of the intricacies of how react works, but I knew the domain problems I was trying to solve really well.

Contrast with this week's "the principle engineer is on vacation, please finish this ticket for them" that had me swearing at claude for hours

Last week I felt like I had really figured it out because I was working on FE code and FE code isn't my thing really and I was able to get things done easily 5X faster than I would have on my own.

Ultimately the unfortunate thing is that you have to understand the problem you want it to solve.

Kind of reminds me of "Google-fu" back when Google actually cared about being a good search engine. Some people quickly grokked the right way to word queries to get the machine to do the right thing.

I still can't always get Claude to do exactly what I want, but I know immediately when it's wrong.

The opinion is wrong on so many levels. One being that obviously there are significantly worse songs.

The other being that The Little Drummer Boy is fucking awesome and undeserving of such slander.

I'm worried about your mental health after having to sift through the avalanche of them.

Just pick Ezra Klein's idiotic "Charlie Kirk did politics right" and save yourselves the horrors.

And it's the back of the house staff you really need to look out for. Front of the house have a little voice in their heads about the customers that makes them hold back. Back of the house will absolutely leave your mangled body in a public trash can on the street.

Additionally, the actual right way to do it if you want to "Give People The Option" is to make it disabled by default and allow them to opt-in, not out.
