I'm guessing no one at Oberlin actually gave a shit, because that's college kids being college kids. I'm guessing the alumni got wind of it and that's when it got weird, if the Pomona college alumni group is anything to go by.

There are a few people on our list that either my husband or I have had massive fallings out with in the last year and it's hard. But I do think if you've just lost touch because of life, people are happy to hear from you! I love getting cards from people, even if it's been a while.

This whole so-called “parents rights” movement the right has taken up and the left is supposed to kowtow to for votes is so obviously anti-child it really bothers me to see it presented as anything other than justification for abusive “parenting” and disregard for actual science on child development
