It's interesting that Labour use a single transferable vote system for their internal elections, were happy to see it used for mayoral elections, but appear reluctant to implement it for electing our MPs.

While electricity prices are artificially inflated by the market price mechanism and surcharges, it's going to be tough. Shift the surcharges to gas & buy green electricity at cost plus rates & suddenly heat pumps will become much cheaper to run than gas.
