The meme got it wrong

Military members not only "can" defy illegal orders, they are legally REQUIRED to defy illegal orders.

We hanged people for "just following orders" at Nuremberg.

Plaque at West Point says the same thing.

This plaque is posted at West Point. Alcoholic TV talk show chatterbox Pete Hegseth wants to court-martial Arizona Senator Mark Kelly for repeating what is written on it.

Yes, I believe this would propel senator Kelly to run for the presidency. Trump and Hegseth look idiotic. All these Democrats did was recite the code.

Hegseth would have to recall Captain Mark Kelly back to active duty, in uniform, chest full of medals (+DFC), his wife who survived an assassination attempt beside him.
To court martial him for quoting The Uniform Code of Military Justice.
I hope they do, Kelly would be a shoo-in for the presidency.

Some human rights group has a body count. When all is said and done, Miller, Noem and Homan will be tried in a court of law (more due process than accorded to an immigrant) and if convicted, will spend some quality time in the big house conjuring up their next inhumane act.
