Still makin' games.
Made a game for Alakajam over the weekend.

It's a great little 48h jam. Nice community; polished and well-thought-out website.

It's been going for 7 years but is still pretty small. If you like game jams, I'd highly recommend it. Feels a bit like early LD.

Anyone else doing Alakajam this weekend? It's a 48h game jam, like a smaller Ludum Dare.

Couple of pics from the recent Blackshift “lore update” for #ScreenshotSaturday.

Until now, Blackshift has been pretty abstract, but now interested players can hunt for lore tablets to learn more about the game world.

A thread on what's worked for me, #GameDev marketing-wise.

(My most popular Steam game is sitting at 25 reviews, so take this for what it's worth)

Yes! This really works. Any Steam #GameDev people who aren't already: take this man's advice!

I've found that joining in the regular Steam sales is almost always a win. Even a small discount — say, 25%, works well.
Boost your STEAM earnings! Leverage discounts for long-term revenue. Tip: Check if your game fits the official sales. Not invited? Tell STEAM that they forgot something. Go to the event registration page and fill out the revision process form. #gamedev #indiedev #bizdev

Anyone else noticed Google has decided Wiktionary is now called "Wikipedia"?

Do people include links to their stuff in their posts here? Or does it do what Twitter does and blackhole any post with a link so users won't leave the site, and you have to go "find it on Steam" or whatever?

The other thing I released semi-recently is Hapland Trilogy, which you might enjoy if you liked those infuriating Flash puzzles from the 2000s that didn't give you any help or tell you what to do. It's on Steam.

Recently released a big update for my puzzle game Blackshift.

It adds some lore and some super hidden post-game stuff.
