That's not a compromise. There is no compromise position lurking somewhere between "treat trans people as full and equal members of society" and "treat trans people as second-class citizens". Labour have chosen the latter option.

Believe it or not women’s football is played in countries other than England. Last season Celtic FC Women played:
EUFA Champions League 10
SWPL 32
Women’s Scottish Cup 4
League Cup 3

I’ve forgotten the exact number but last season Celtic FC Women played 50+ matches. And many (most?) of the team played half a dozen internationals as well.
