How is the government going to have MORE oversight over private corporations than public ones? She doesn't have the thinking skills to make anything make sense and she just stands there like teflon when called to account. The real problem is how they've walled themselves off from accountability

Saw an ad in my local paper the other day where Rogers was promoting its satellite-to-mobile system. It seemed to purposely avoid mentioning that it is using Musk’s Starlink.

I don't want someone to run gov't as a business, I want someone to run it as a *government*. It is the entire point of gov't to govern fairly and responsibly, and provide services for the collective that elects them. You want to run things like a business, Dani, then go work for a fucking business.

There is no accountability by the provinces. Audits show that they underspend on the intended purposes and divert huge amounts to costly private services, but there seem to be no consequences. People keep re-electing conservatives provincially.
