(Inside baseball) The thing I find most galling about rollback of the CFPB, is that it was created in 2010 because of the Great Recession of ‘07-‘09. We lived through this! US Gov’t didn’t decide one day “Hey, banks should be more fair.” It was to recover from a collapse and intercept the next one.

Okay, I get it now. For the people who actually keep their work hours separate from life, work from home is just like the office. But to the manager answering emails on the back deck of the clubhouse between dances at their child’s wedding, WFH is indistinguishable from vacation.

It seems I’m able to keep a more level pace on my morning run while listening to WH40K books about Necrons; the ancient constructs who translated their minds into machinery, burning away the weakness of the flesh.
