After a misty start the sun broke through to reveal the last of the autumn colour in Teesdale. And some nice mushrooms. Also an unseasonably flowering cow parsley

Today I'll mostly be remembering these 3 people. My.mum & Dad who served for 6 years in the Royal Navy and WAAF and my Grandad of the Manchester regiment who was gassed twice, lost a lung and had 17 pieces of shrapnel in his body.
