"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”

I haven’t seen this get covered in English yet so let me translate.

Not his best investment, that's for sure.
Weird how literally nobody in the US seems to remember that the construction of Trump's hotel in Chicago was funded by Soros with a loan of $160 million in 2004.

When a Bsky account with 197K followers is turning conspiracy brained about AIPAC it’s safe to say we have hit that point.

It’s just the latest iteration of the old “Jewish money secretly controls the world” libel.
There's definitely a point at which "AIPAC is a bad actor in American politics" turns into "(((AIPAC)) is behind all the bad things in American politics."

I’m a NYer. This is my home.
I lived in the Bay Area and it was fine, but not a forever place.

LA? Nope. Not for me. I’m not an LA person and never will be. It’s on a different frequency.

Seems like all of social media is having a field day joking about Trump giving blowjobs.

And I get it. But also, isn't there a little bit of homophobia in all of those jokes? It's up there with the sexism of showing Trump in a woman's dress.

Aren't we supposed to be better than that?

Ban all this shit.
The Athletic polled hundreds of players from across the NBA, NFL, MLB and NHL about their opinions surrounding how sports betting impacts players — the responses were haunting.

The potato turns brown because it has oxidized. Not because it's drawing toxins out of your feet.
Under-the-weather TikTokers are slicing raw potatoes and placing them in their — and their children’s — socks before bed. The theory is that the potato draws out toxins.

However, experts warn against relying on folk remedies over medical care.
No, putting a potato in your sock will not cure a cold
