A lot of the time I think about 9/11 wherein about 3,000 people died and we started a 20 years war over it and completely upended society. But when 3,000 people a week died of covid, when 2,000 people are disappeared by the government, it’s kinda nothing. I dunno. Just bounces around in my head.
