So authoritarian threats and intimidation begin.

Danielle Smith, obey the Constitution, honour First Nations Treaties and respect nearly half million #ForeverCanadian Albertans, and you won’t have to fear me.

You and I differ. I follow the law.

This is a great idea…make it so they can’t ignore it
I don’t think HC is even a concern for our current govt…. Based on there last AGM it wasn’t even a major issue… except to say our system sucks and to try to restrict reproductive Access.
If only healthcare could appropriate space in the Alberta legislative building so the UCP would have to be faced with the patients & their loved ones who have been failed by these loonies who are ripping up our national healthcare system.

This is Smith attacking the courts in their legitimate capacity as a check on the power of politicians.

Make no mistake about it, she hates the courts _BECAUSE_ they hold the power to check her actions as a legislator.

The goal is to tear things up.

Smith: “I’m not a separatist, but here’s me going to bat for the separatists!”

If the courts don’t determine what’s constitutional, who does? My drunk uncle?

Not politicians, that’s for sure. They have insufficient knowledge to decide these things.
