After all mainline Metroid games later, I finally got around to starting Metroid Prime!
So far, it’s a fantastic way of handling the transition from 2D to 3D. I’m still early into the game and trying to get used to the aiming controls as I haven’t played GC outside of Fire Emblem. Shame it’s 5am now
