This is a very obvious election year stunt – fiscally impossible – put forward so Republicans running for higher office can claim Democrats “voted against the biggest tax cut in the state’s history”
It's hard for me to take someone seriously if they didn't even get a fiscal note, an estimate of a bill's costs prepared by nonpartisan state staff or profs

I’m not an expert on ramming people with a car but if I were to try to run someone down I wouldn’t cut the wheel as hard to the right as I could.

This glib statement is all the more risible when you recall how many law enforcement officers used their vehicles as weapons against protesters in 2020... and how many Republican-dominated states *sought to legalize killing protesters with vehicles* as a reaction to the demonstrations
