not sure what your floorspace situation is like, but my girlfriend and i bought a standalone cabinet to expand our apartment’s kitchen setup and it has worked wonders for us. it’s also the kind of item that goes overlooked at vintage furniture shops, tho that depends on your area and luck for sure

yep, subsistence has the free camera as opposed to the fixed camera of 1/2. most people (including myself) would say that it’s the best way to experience 3 for the first time, so you should be set up for success there. have fun with it! game rocks!

either way is valid though, and you won’t miss the point or anything if you do play delta. i just think it doesn’t quite live up to the original, and in general i feel that that style of remake is better experienced as a sort of “bonus content”

awesome to hear; i hope you’ve been enjoying them! if i may impose, not sure which version you intend to play, but i do recommend playing 3 (subsistance) rather than delta. delta is a fine remaster, but i can’t help but feel that something intangible is lost with it.

assuming the basics are covered (mario, call of duty, etc) i think metal gear solid 1+2 are an essential duology. not just because they are great, but because they represent one of the first successful attempts at earnestly emulating hollywood-level presentation in video games. and they hold up!
