yesterday i watched the X-Files episode that is basically The Thing but but in 1/3rd the time and no special effects and it's really fun, that's the sort of thing i miss from having tv shows with longer runs. being able to do what feels like in-universe fanfic like that. it's just neat

It's egregious. The video makes it clear that they stopped him for no reason and viciously assaulted him just because they could. If the criminal justice system won't do the right thing, he needs to sue them all into the poorhouse, including the colluding sheriff's office and the DA's office.
