I loved Freaky Tales. Anna Boden & Ryan Fleck have created just pure unadulterated entertainment here. Was captivated from start to finish. Felt similar to my first watch of Repo Man way back in '84. Streaming on HBO Max now!

Congrats to Pluribus writer Ariel Levine on writing my favorite episode of the series so far, "Got Milk?" Was totally locked in and one part made me laugh out loud A LOT.

In honor of Rhino's new release of The Replacements' classic LET IT BE, here's my pretty cringe-y but relatively on-target review of the album in the Yale Daily News 41 years ago. Still one of my favorite albums. And of course the friend mentioned is none other than @chrissteller.bsky.social.

It’s hard to imagine a better production with a more stacked cast than the one of THE BAKER’S WIFE now onstage at CSC. In lesser hands it might be unbearably twee, but here it is lovingly staged and performed—a joy and a gem.
