When I got my first job as a teacher, middle class is exactly what I thought it had made me. Generations of bottom rung labourers & miners - to become a teacher seemed like an amazing thing. Then I found out how much lower middle class people sneered at my achievements.

I don’t bother. It runs the way it does due to the systems in place and we are trying to change them.

Within a decade or two it will be commonplace to ask an AI to make music on the spot, generated live, assembled by extrapolate from our learned habits, our tastes analysed to the nth deg & then anticipated.
Is this bad or good? I’m not sure, but it’s a seismic shift. Our culture may not be ready,

In a few short years little “recorded” music and few artists will be real, there will be infinite remixes, infinite numbers of fake/artificial “rehearsal tapes” for enthusiasts, all on demand and all not real.
