About 30% of my trains to work recently have been affected by faults of one sort or another on the train set. They have a fleet of new trains but I’ve only sat on one of them. On their busiest line. #southwesternrailway

Was just asked why I don’t appear in competitions for my photography. Well,I’ve been ignored for every 1 I’ve entered in the last 30 yrs. Not sure how much better I have to get though, especially when I see stuff I see online. You get past caring too much but it narks a bit when asked. #photography

Just listening to Anthology 4 & it’s remarkable that it sounds like you’re in the studio with them. It’s a coda to the rock era in the way it brings to life the roots of it. It also marks the point at which we finally switch from human to the artificial.

This was the last conference of the year for me. Before Covid I took a four year break from them. Since Covid ended I’ve either spoke at or chaired abut 30. Love the public speaking.

You know when cyclists (and I am one) put you on block lists etc when you have a go at them ignoring rules… basically they don’t like being pointed out that it’s antisocial behaviour. Look at these numbers and these are so called “professional people.”
