It was a wee bit cold but went out running for the first time in nearly 4 weeks - to mark the end of a rather challenging month. Hopefully things get better from now.

the entirety of the british press talked themselves into believing this woman is trans based almost entirely on JK Rowling's judgement of the athlete's appearance.
Nothing illustrates the arseholery of the IOC and the British Press more than the use of the image of a not-Trans woman to illustrate a story about trans women being banned (because there are no current trans women competing at this level)

I can't tell you how anxious I was leading up to today. An early start 7am on ward, many trains cancelled from Brighton last night thinking i might not make, then catastrophising about anaesthetic. Grateful to the staff at Whipps Cross Hospital they were brilliant. I felt really looked after.
