They've apparently added some AI slop you can't opt out of to their SoundCore headphones app too, purportedly for "translation"

Dear SoundCore Support, I am writing to express my concern and displeasure at finding the Anka AI tool in my SoundCore app with the latest update. Nobody asked for this, I promise you. It seems like this was an arbitrary decision to jump on the AI bandwagon without considering whether it's even useful or necessary. The environmental hazards, privacy violations, and intellectual property theft issues surrounding AI are well-documented, and I want no part of it. If you're going to force AI into the app, you should have a way for your users to disable it. If a way to disable the AI tool isn't implemented, I can no longer in good conscience use or recommend your products.

Ants are full of tasty protein too. There's a Mexican restaurant here in town that serves dips topped with with ants and crickets and they were delicious.
