I have to wonder if he raced into your home, what would happen. We've had a couple birds fly into the house (vaux swift, down the chimney, flicker into the family room) and it's always...interesting.

Hope you have a nice Thanksgiving--will your son join you? Good year to appreciate having enough, and giving extra to those in need. 🍗🥧🥬

Looked it up again, looks like you are right.
However, administration changes regulations with moods…which change every five minutes.

Not sure of the ever changing tarriffs (shell game) but Altruan (German co.) has great pricing (like a few bucks) on bulk orders of combination tests for all three…flu A would also detect bird flu. Ordered 20-30 tests for price break, shared. altruan.com/products/flu...

The longer I garden, the more I believe in flinging…letting it be….Darwinian planting (plant a mix, see what grows, plant more of those)…seems like a no-brainer for adapting to climate change. I’m wondering if shallots planted in the fall will have to transition to spring planting instead.

When the sun comes out, it’s so clear up there, beautiful colors.
Enjoy the winter. For a bird feeder that’s good viewing location from a cozy spot in the house?

Three days in a row the Peregrines have arrived to harass the Snowies just after 10am. I'm too tired to edit the photos from today before a nap but here's a RAW look.

Gorgeous, would love to see one. Some years we have rumors or sightings of a snowy owl.

Looks like a scene from pre-human history….and probably could have been. Carrying those massive horns could make it grumpy too (imagine getting wrapped around a tree, at speed….)
