The “wellness” industry in the US does not sell wellness.
As someone disabled and working in agriculture, permaculture, and herbalism the industry sells distraction, at best. Distraction from root causes and disease caused by capitalism and colonialism.

I don’t know if me or my loved ones are going to survive this US regime. But I am surviving mentally now because of the gifts of resilience and joy from marginalized knowledge keepers.
We may die and many are suffering. But my ability to still enjoy the sunset is one of those gifts of resilience.

I will never forgive the people who abused me and told me I was a sociopath and monster because I didn't want kids of my own (I am #Childfree).
Because I now watch those same people and those like them celebrate and/or intentionally ignore the suffering and murder of real living children.
