Today I will vote NO on the continuing resolution.
Our communities demand, & deserve, better. They deserve health care they can afford & a government that functions. This continuing resolution is another false choice from a Republican majority that can only govern through fear, chaos, and cruelty.

At a time when millions of Americans can’t put food on the table & are being forced to work for no pay, Speaker Johnson’s refusal to bring the House of Representatives back into session is unacceptable. Republicans in Congress must immediately return to D.C. & get back to work for the people. (1/2)

In the meantime, We have some incredible organizations and resources in the East Bay, including the Alameda County Community Food Bank which just recieved a portion of a $10 million+ infusion that the Board of Supervisors approved last week. (3/4)
