One million faces before I die. I hope I live to 77, or I won't make it.
Face number 474,939. Summer was lazy, but I'm catching up, so I will reach my annual target of 36,500 by New Year.
Yes, it feels like an amazingly stupid project by now.

Am I stuck? I've released just 3 albums this year and one of them is just 6 minutes. This 'symphony' is 12 minutes, but writing all these notes in Musescore 4 was hard work.

Last week, I booted a guy off my Finnish Experimental Underground group for repeatedly posting his acoustic guitar strum strum "Jesus saves" video.
Perhaps unfairly, as I've made a few acoustic guitar and voice records myself.

blithering
adjective: complete; utter (used to express annoyance or contempt).
"a blithering idiot"

blither
verb: talk in a long-winded way without making very much sense.
"I won't blither on too much about the job itself"

People use the term 'late stage capitalism.' To me it feels like wishful thinking. Capitalism seems to be returning to an early stage and eyeing methods of getting rid of this pesky democracy and government interference.

Slightly addicted to NASCAR racing. 40 cars driving nose to back at 190 mph (300 km/h). Surprisingly few horrible crashes. And the cars are so tough that the drivers walk away from them. So there's less guilt in enjoying the crashes. Ahem.

"You spend ten hours refining a track. Then you come back in the morning and find that the original in all its rawness is much better."

People think to make good music, you just need to have a good idea and then execute that idea effectively, but this is a false path. A better approach to making good music is to have a bad idea that you fail to effectively realize.

"It's hardly cricket," they say when speaking of unfairness.
Then one thinks of how poorer countries are treated by the International Cricket Council and one goes: "Well, at least it ain't cricket."

There are many things I love about Finland but somehow the fact it's the sort of country to make another country go "Who shall we send as ambassador...? I know! THIS guy!!!" kinda captures the essence of ALL of it.
Taiwanese ambassador to Finland performs with his metal band at Taiwan-Finland cultural event! 🤘✊️
That's what I call great ambassador

I grew up at a time when America's motto was: "Better dead than red."
Red means something else these days, but hey, it still works, right?

(I've been a Green party voter since the 80s. My dad thinks that means I'm a Stalinist.)

Who needs an audience when one has two cats.
And I'm in turn their audience.
"Meow!"
"Meow yourself."

Motown: Music made by Black people for a 1960s white American audience. Avoid complex rhythms and raunchiness.

Yes, it's excellent anyway. Love songs for grown-ups.
There is an art to making tunes that you can sing along to halfway through hearing it for the first time.

'Post-modern' is old hat, so now they speak of 'contemporary art.' What word will they use when that turns into a petrified style we've left behind? Is there a fashionable style or is it 'anything goes' these days?
Actually, I'm too lazy to follow the art world and only slightly interested.

I don't know why they've given this a 3/10 rating. I'd say it's at least a 5. But then I appreciate silliness: silly script, silly acting and silly robots.

Such disappointment: Fred Astaire's and Ginger Rogers' tap dancing was overdubbed, as their tapping was too quiet to be captured over the sound of the orchestra.
I wonder what implements the sound effects guy used for it.
