Genetically engineered babies will happen at some point. There will be some nation that does not outlaw it and people will travel there to get blond and blue-eyed children. Or something.

My kids would have chlorophyll skin, so they wouldn't starve as long as the sun shines.

In Germany, people turn down the heat during nights and sleep under thick blankets. In my apartment it's permanently 23 degrees and I have no choice in the matter. That's normal in much of Finland.

I seem to recall reading that an average Finn produces as much CO2 emissions as 50 average Indians. That would make Finland equal to 250 million Indians.
I could be wrong. I frequently am.

Racing at Daytona is insane. They hurtle around the track at 200 mph (320 km/h) with barely a metre between them. Drive safely? Leave a safe gap and another car slides into it. Horrible crashes, but somehow nobody gets injured.
F1 is so boring compared to this.

I grew up in West Germany in the 70s. At school we were taken to a brook, five meters wide, and told we'd be poisoned if we swam there.
There were no limits to pollution anywhere back then.
