I've told Steve I can't take him to the pub because we've run out of petrol. He doesn't 100% believe me.

The water troughs are melting and my dogs are getting the sheets of ice to play with. But they have to bite down pretty hard to hold onto them and the ice shatters. Then my dogs stand there and stare at the pieces and I realize I can't protect them from this level of betrayal.

I really hope that we see a huge shift in power after mid-terms this year and that, if that happens, the dems realize that it's solely due to the fact that they are our only other option.
