A handsome dude from Atlanta,GA that loves talking sports 🏀🏈⚾️ and eats Fried Catfish, Chicken Tenders & Oxtails!
Bill Belichick not being a 1st ballot hall of fame coach is A FLAT OUT CRIME!

Like Come On People! I get it he did some BS earlier in his career but he still won 6 Super Bowls and got to 9 of them!

I have my qualms about Boozer about what his ceiling is but the one thing i'll give him is he's a very malleable offensive player. You can put him anywhere on the court & he'll feel comfortable. Can use him as the handler or a roller or off ball. Thats a Pretty Valuable Trait in a player!

AJ Dybantsa has like his 4th bad game out of 20 & folks talking crazy! 😂😂

After the 43 he put up last game, he was due for a stinker.

Dude literally was missing good looks, hes made for most of the year.

Lol It don't change my viewpoint, I would still take him number 1 overall

AJ Dybantsa needs to be an Atlanta Hawk expeditiously!!!!!!!!!

AJ Dybantsa & Jalen Johnson together would be what TMac & Grant Hill was supposed to be in Orlando!

I NEED THIS SHIT TO HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Joe Dumars and Doc Rivers really saved my franchise, man. Two Hall-of-Famers for a good reason

I've come around on Boozer after watching him last week vs Stanford. Enough that I would be cool taking him

But I REALLY REALLY REALLY want AJ Dybantsa or Darryn Peterson on this Hawks roster badly.

You put 1 of those two with Jalen and the Hawks will contend for a title for the next 5-7 years
I also imagine that Boozer would try to avoid Atlanta specifically kind of like how Sarr did. If they end up at the top I think it’ll be a consideration amongst AJ/DP/Flemings depending on where they land.

The Hawks are gonna have 2 shots at Dybantsa/Peterson/Boozer with 2 picks being in the top 8! ☺️😊☺️
January 24, 2026 at 1:25 PM
its absurd how perfectly things are starting to play out with that Pelicans/Bucks pick that the Hawks have.

The Pelicans have a bottom 3 record and the Bucks sitting with the 8th worst record are gonna be without Giannis til early March.

The Bucks are gonna free fall in the standings

Boozer/Jalen probably could work tho. I believe in Boozer as a shooter.

However if Quin is back here next yr im skeptical he would slide JJ to the 3 & that would ruin it.

But again if ATL is picking 3rd & Boozer is there, I'll be happy w/him on the team.

I see a hybrid of Kevin Love/Paul Millsap
IDK how supposed hawks fans dont see how transformative Cam Boozer would be. He is going to dominate physically at the next level

Boozer is very good & if ATL drafted him i'll be cool w/it.

I just prefer AJ/DP over him because IMO both have higher ceilings as a true number 1 scoring option which matters when you picking high. While also being cleaner fits next to Jalen.

Longterm I want a pure scorer with size next to Jalen.

When the Falcons drafted Matt Ryan a lot folks was HEATED about that move because it meant the Mike Vick era was over.

Only for Matt Ryan to eventually end up becoming a 4 Time pro Bowler, an MVP and a top 2 greatest Atlanta Falcons player ever

Why I feel even more confident about the Stefanski hire:

The amount of public backlash for the Kevin Stefanski hire is quite similar to the amount of people who hated the Mike Smith hire back in 2008 because he wasn't a "flashy name"

I remember lol

Baker Mayfield talking all that shit to my new head coach and his OC is ZAC ROBINSON?!?!?

Thoughts on ATL/MEM:

Jalen played like the All Star that he is.

Onyeka was good despite fouling out.

Luke Kennard revenge game.

CJ wasn’t perfect but his offensive process has been better the last couple games & he hit a couple of big shots in the 4th.

Overcame a Dyson/NAW stinker

W/Jalen defending better over the past 3+ weeks/POA defense, I can see a world where it works & for as bad KAT is defending, he helps on the boards. But as I said, its difficult to match salary that works cuz I dont see ATL moving Zaach for him & my idea of getting KAT is keeping OO as the 3rd big.
January 21, 2026 at 5:26 PM
Confession:

I tried talking myself into the idea of ATL trading for KAT as a buy low. Im intrigued with how he would fit w/NAW/Dyson/Zaach/Jalen & possibly OO as the 3rd big. The problem however, is he makes too much & the only deals that work is KP/OO for KAT or KP/Luke/Zaach for KAT/Yabusele

ICYMI: I wrote about why there should be far more optimism and less fixating on win-loss records with the Falcons decision to hire Kevin Stefanski via @thefalcoholic.bsky.social

Kevin Stefanski has proven himself regardless of his win-loss record
Hiring one of the league’s better offensive minds, who overcame plenty in Cleveland, was a terrific move by the Falcons.

I was opportunistic about CJ McCollum fitting well here. Today was the best he's looked since hes been in an ATL uni from an offensive process standpoint but that last late game possession from him was beyond bad & indefensible
January 19, 2026 at 9:59 PM
W/that said, if this season COMPLETELY goes off the rails in 2 months & ATL somehow dont even make the play-in then all bets are off.

I've been mostly pro Quin but at the same time. Regardless of whatever roster, there hasn't been a real identity he's established despite him being here for 3 years
Ownership seems to really like Quin, and there hasn't been any murmurs about moving on from him. But results like this got Lloyd and Nate fired, so it really wouldn't shock me to get that notif at any point.

I think Quin gets at least 1 more season with this team.

Think they'll chalk this season up to injuries with KP & Trae drama. So the roster set up hasnt been ideal

Also next season is the last season of Quin's deal so it all lines up for next season being a "prove it" season for him.

Its insane how much the Pelicans saved the Hawks from becoming borderline Hopeless.

1st trading DeJounte for Dyson Daniels & 2 1sts & now that crazy Draft Night trade.

If ATL didn't own that Pelicans/Bucks pick from them, I would be feeling a good bit different about the direction of the team.

Jalen isn't nearly as destructive on the team defense as Trae was, but you still need good size at the 3 and 5 going forward. They just have no chance without Zacch and KP.
January 14, 2026 at 5:05 PM
If AJ or Peterson aren't available then i'll settle for Kingston Flemings.

Im not that interested in Cam Boozer or Caleb Wilson. Both are very good prospects, but both aren't ideal fits next to Jalen. I have concerns about Boozer's defense & Wilson's offense/shooting & both are pure PFs
January 14, 2026 at 4:44 PM
As a fan, im praying the Basketball Gods do me right & that Pels/MIL pick ends up at least top 5 but definitely top 2.
You put AJ Dybantsa or Darryn Peterson on this Hawks team next to Jalen Johnson & they make a real upgrade at Center & this team can compete for a title over the next 5-7 years.
