Mike Vrabel is going to get Dean Pees out of retirement at this rate

I can go on and on about Bijan. That’s why it’s time to write an article about him. It’ll be coming out tomorrow.

The Falcons do have to consider pursuing a receiver if McCloud isn't going to be counted on going forward. Washington and Sills couldn't create any separation. It put a lot of pressure on Penix to target London and Bijan often. While it worked, great offenses need legit pass catching options.

The overall blocking deserves praise despite fading a bit after Matthews got injured. Neuzil was on point with combo and reach blocks. Bergeron was eating defenders at the second level. Lindstrom continues to play like an All-Pro. London and Washington made notable impacts as blockers too.

How Elliss and Walker were utilized as pass rushers and then dropped off LOS into coverage off blitzes was fantastic. Onyemata was causing havoc. Alford and Terrell had shining moments as blitzers forcing mistakes out of Allen. Deablo was everywhere once again. It was a total team effort

Finished rewatching Bills-Falcons. Best Falcons defensive performance ever in my nine years of watching film. The pressure plan to make Allen uncomfortable and not allow him to find any rhythm was terrific. Ulbrich's vision was centered around bringing relentless pressure. It was executed.

How often quarterbacks get sacked versus how good their pass protection is

Justin Fields is nothing if not consistent

Bills giving up 4.2 YAC on runs coming into the night, same exact average that Bijan had on yards after contact coming into MNF.

What happened tonight was the team that makes everyone look like Bijan...played Bijan.

Any nitpicking of that win can wait a day or two. The Atlanta Falcons just beat the Buffalo Bills. They fully deserved it too. Defensive game plan was fantastic with players executing across the board. Bijan and London were phenomenal. What a special win

Awesome signature moment for Zach Harrison. He’s continued to make strides the more he plays. Savvy play to get his hands up to secure the win

It’s only right that Bijan and Allgeier led the game-sealing drive. They had to be at their best for the Falcons to pull off the upset. They’ve been sensational in all aspects as running backs. What a duo

One of the best things about Bluesky for me is that you and @andrewhirsh.bsky.social are here

Not sure what’s crazier Josh Allen having no impact in the game as a screamer or two designed plays for Feleipe Franks ending up in huge positive plays

Love when Tyler Allgeier gets to show he’s more than just an in between tackles power back. He can make things happen on stretch plays and bounce runs to the outside. He’s been tremendous on this drive

Zac Robinson must have spent hours this summer watching Christian McCaffrey tape. The way Bijan is being utilized is so reminiscent of how CMC is used

The Bills are two for nine on third down. They haven’t come close to converting on most of them. This defensive game plan has been exceptional in not letting Allen find any rhythm and space to scramble.
allenstrk.bsky.social
That failed third down is where Penix will need to improve on as a creative passer. Slant was telegraphed the entire way. Wish he could try to create outside the pocket there

Even if the handoff was not botched, James Pearce had it covered for a loss. Time and time again the defense is well organized and ready for what the Bills are trying to execute. Jeff Ulbrich is getting the better of Josh Allen just like he did with the Jets
allenstrk.bsky.social
Elijah Wilkinson is having a rough one. When Bills generate pressure, it’s largely coming from his side where he looks stiff and not anchoring

the Falcons are blitzing 52% of the snaps and getting pressure 44% of the time.

feels like it can't last forever but their defense has more than done its job so far
allenstrk.bsky.social
Jeff Ulbrich has refused to allow Josh Allen to be comfortable since the first drive. He’s bringing pressure by any means necessary to force him into making uncomfortable throws out of structure. It’s working damn well

That inside spin move by Kaden Elliss was so clean. Can’t believe it got wasted
allenstrk.bsky.social
Mike Jerrell has done well replacing Jake Matthews so far. Joey Bosa got zero push when attempting to bull rush him. Maybe playing left instead of right tackle could work out for him after struggling at RT in Seattle

It looks like the Falcons got too turnt up at the Jeezy halftime show. Can’t blame them
