I have long thought Tarantino to be our best film critic - but the medium for his critique is film, not print. I was not as taken by Cinema Speculation as I thought I would be - in writing, which has the cadence of his vocal patterns, he's too in love with the shock take. Remember his TOP GUN riffs?

imho James Garner really is the guy that everyone thinks Steve McQueen is. Garner's fit was so powerful that McQueen threw a tantrum about it and insisted they swap costumes.

Watching season 2 of A MAN ON THE INSIDE l, and I was thinking the same thing. I think Ted Danson has had *maybe* 3 "second acts" in his career? He's SO good!
