LGBTIQ+ persons in Malawi still face violence amounting to torture, driven by discriminatory laws & practices. 

States should recommend that Malawi: 
✅ Criminalise torture
✅ End discriminatory laws
✅ Ensure independent investigations
✅ Train officials on LGBTIQ+ rights
