arek is immediately suspicious of neve, as being wary of both mages and tevinter had been ingrained to him under the qun

claude was immediately starstruck when they met emmrich. it did help that emmrich made them feel safe and was so well versed in magic

claudius came up after i somehow nicknamed them cloudberry in the cc and then kept calling them that. liked the sound of the name but not necessarily the name, so i went looking for another one with that similar cloud sound. ended up with claudius 🤷‍♀️

tbh naming arek was a struggle, but eventually i landed on arek after deciding i wanted a name that's short and feels rough on the tongue, so i went googling. i also like that it's one letter away from ares, which is a name i deemed too on the nose.

ok,so.. i'm not entirely sure what i keep doing wrong that i keep ending up with sibling rooks 😆 i was trying to just make a new qunari rook so i could try out the lords faction but i think there's some uncanny resemblance between these two? my fave thembo claudius and his twin (?) brother silvanus

i know they don't look *that* similar but sometimes when the light is right there's kind of something

they have vastly different experiences living outside the qun though, with arek looking so distinctly qunari and lyra looking more like a human with horns #oysterspearls

couldn't sleep bc i was so worried so i decided to put my nonexistent editing skills to work and slap the sibling rooks together just bc i wanted to see them together

the quality is shit and the edges are wonky and the lighting is all over the place but seeing them together makes me so happy 😌

bhaal's biggest mistake with rosemary was definitely the decision to make her seem harmless to fool people into not being inherently terrified of her and to help her infiltrate better when needed

turns out she didn't just /seem/ meek and harmless, she /is/ meek and harmless

my durge rosemary. she's a youngish tiefling, in her early twenties. her skin is a shade of pinkish red and her hair is an even lighter shade of pink, looks almost platinum. one of her eyes is also pink and the other one is black and has a scar running over it.
