my tv station is now broadcasting from a raspberry pi in my garage, and being controlled from a little webapp I hacked together that lets anyone on my network schedule videos off my media server or YouTube or whatever
It's basically a homemade analog chromecast as a UHF tv broadcast

I spent like two hours trying to figure out why my code to add audio to the broadcast wasn't working
Turns out the white composite cable wasn't plugged in 😭😭
I still gotta synchronize the audio for the video that's playing, so this is me overlaying glass beach onto southland tales (the best movie)

1) we now have streaming video with a monstrous ffmpeg pipeline that feeds into a horrible numpy script and then gnuradio
2) we built an antenna to improve signal (cut a 64cm length of wire and taped it to my wall)

Also I totally convinced the surgeon to give me my testicles in a plastic bag (tied with an elastic!), then used some formaldehyde we bought from someone off the street to preserve it in the Airbnb so I could get them home and stick them in a jar beside my femur.
