So, everyone’s happy with the continued production of misogynistic images and CSAM, just so long as it’s a bit harder to see in the U.K.?
January 15, 2026 at 9:02 AM
Not such good news. X will only "geoblock the ability of all users to generate images of real people in bikinis, underwear, and similar attire via the Grok account and in Grok in X in those jurisdictions where it's illegal" so users elsewhere are free to do so. Hardly a triumph for UK government.
This is good news and thanks to the leadership of the government and threat of such strong sanctions against X.

But this issue has highlighted the real harm and pace of change of AI.

We must change the way we legislate to address the ever-changing challenges of AI.

Grok will no longer allow users to remove clothing from images of real people in jurisdictions where it is illegal.

The United States needs military access to Greenland, which it already has, to defend the Arctic, which it already does, from Russian and Chinese ships, which aren’t actually there, and this is so important we should destroy the Western alliance to get it, do I have that right?

Here’s to hoping their piss-taking opportunism does for them both.

This is unhinged. A 75 year old alliance in NATO is being trashed to serve one man's ego.

Trump is not a reliable ally, he's a reckless bully. Starmer needs a plan B to stand up for Britain and our allies.
