Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

This is the thing that drives me insane. Things aren't normal; this isn't politics as usual. And when you accurately describe everything this administration is doing, it's so lawless, radical, and authoritarian that *you* sound like a partisan extremist.
seems to me that those democrats inclined not to fight perceive themselves as living through a somewhat ordinary cycle of presidential overreach and backlash and not something much more significant and dangerous

This is important. Where these minerals lie, this admin will aggressively use taxpayer money to find. Extraction will enrich members of this admin, their corporate enablers. This is what we are up against. All of these entities working together to profit from the fall of democracy and demise of law.

RFKJ is right, therefore whatever he decides is right. CDC is “corrupt” therefore whatever CDC does is wrong. RKFJ knows he doesn’t have the qualifications to make health policy decisions. He admitted so himself. So instead he belittles the qualifications of all those around him who dare to disagree

How arrogant do you have to be to think the ENTIRE GLOBAL SCIENTIFIC ESTABLISHMENT is wrong and you and your friends are right? We are in a post-data environment. Decisions are not being made based on data. They are being made based on the decision maker.

It recently occurred to me Trump is a malignant Don Quixote and MAGA are his army of Sancho Panzas. Might explain his hatred of windmills. I could see him attacking a wind turbine while mounted upon his noble steed (a golf cart)

Of course, you won't find Don Quixote in the Epstein files
