Apropos of nothing: now would be a real cool time for the CNCF to realize that North America includes both Mexico and Canada and decide that KubeCon NA can be somewhere other than the US

Just a thought

Why do I seem to care more — and share more — about what's happening in the US than elsewhere lately?

Is it because it's more important than in other countries?

Yes, precisely. And why? 🧵

Most fascist regimes in history came to power through democratic means.

Democracy isn’t a safeguard against fascism; it’s an ever going responsibility.

Seen from Europe, this has unfortunately been quite obvious for months now.

I hope America doesn't wait too long to turn back and reclaim its freedom while there's still time.

Don't assume you're immune. Fascism has happened in democracies before, and it will happen again unless you prevent it.

They once spoke without wires, I’ve heard—shaping breath into meaning, passing thoughts through air itself. The implant was faster, cleaner, perfect.

But when the flare burned the sky, I opened my mouth to call for help… and found only silence.

Books are great, blog posts can be insightful, talks can inspire... but nothing compares to doing!

That’s why I love online labs as a teaching tool 🧪

They remove the friction. The infrastructure is ready. You get straight to the feature you want to understand — not just read about.

I gave up on finding a good and simple RAADS-R test online (Autism self-report questionnaire) that doesn't require an email address or even a payment...

So I made one, supporting English and French: raphink.github.io/raads-r
