You've likely followed his very technical updates and passion for research even on a topic as awful as this disease. This week he passed away peacefully at home surrounded by friends and family. There aren't words for how deep this loss is for me, for our son, Beckett, and really anyone who had the chance to meet him. You're welcome to think I'm overly cynical, but when someone talks like a grifter, builds like a grifter, and raises money from grifters, they deserve all of the scrutiny of grifters. Even if you give them the benefit of the doubt, Bluesky has raised $23 million to date, and they will need hundreds of millions more to reach Twitter scale. Along the way, they will have to cede more and more control of the company to investors. Those investors eventually expect returns. Bluesky's upcoming experiment with subscriptions might make a few bucks at its current scale. Long term, they won't make a scratch in the ongoing capital expenditures that come with operating at Twitter scale. When the time comes to monetize, they'll either go with ads or pump and dump a "BlueskyCoin."

You can pretty much buy Everclear* on Amazon, and have it shipped to you, without needing to show ID or anything.

Perfect for industrial cleaning uses, such as disinfecting mouse feces and urine. Don’t ask me how I know.
