This assumption that new is better is myopic at best. Each case needs to be looked at individually. Some old school dems are the only dems who can get elected in their districts. Some of the new are bloviated windbags. Making broad statements like this is divisive and comes off as arrogant.

I’m going to say this is a goal. Wealthy people will continue to live longer. They don’t want people on ss/medicare to live long lives. I’d say as short a time as possible once they start collecting. For them, this is a huge win.

Sanders: I am not a great fan of the affordable care act. I believe in medicare for all. I think that health care is a human right, but I will be damned if I'm going to see people in Vermont and around this country see a doubling in their premiums.

I am not a conspiracy theorist. They aggravate the hell out of me and seem willfully stupid. But given how over the top Trump is acting over Kirk’s death has gotten me to start wondering - seems they found a way to get Epstein out of the news and are going to fan these flames into an inferno.

How about the millions who can’t afford Medicare? Too many people seem to think Medicare is free - it’s not. Plus - are you talking part A? Or all the parts? How about full affordable medical for everyone? Single payer? Lots of seniors having to choose Medicare payments over food.
If we really want to “make America healthy again,” we’d have Medicare for All.

Democratic leaders standing up and doing the right thing to protect democracy lost my confidence in the 4 years they had to do something and didn’t. There’s a reason democrats poll numbers suck when they should be in the stratosphere- people got tired of criminals being given a pass.
