For New Year’s, just encouraging everyone to remember you can be your own person in fandom. You miss out on so many wonderful shows/fics/people if you just adopt your friends’ opinions without discovering for yourself what you like, and who.

I honestly think people are just getting really mean online. It started in 2020 and then exponentially increase by last winter. No one is patient with each other anymore, no one reads good intentions in each other unless there’s supposedly no room for doubt (ie you can be placed on a pedestal)

everytime somebody in this fandom unironically refers to jayce as a “himbo” or portrays him as the stupid/“lesser” one, an angel cries. tbh, it feels so. *telling* imo that the most people are willing to interact w/ jayce is to either make him stupid, oversexualize him, or both. i’m so, so, so tired
I know a lot of this stuff is unconscious bias and carelessness, which does not make it feel any better, but writers, *please* take a moment to consider whether you’re putting the brown man in the ship in a servile position or making him the dumb one.
