The constant refrain of “Release the Epstein List” is perfect revenge to the guy who screamed “SHOW YOUR BIRTH CERTIFICATE” with the added benefit of the List being a real issue and the birth certificate being bullshit and the original sin of trumps mental demise.

Rob Reiner was one of the key people behind the effort to go to court to overturn California's anti-marriage equality Proposition 8 when it passed in 2008.

Working with Chad Griffin, they founded the American Foundation for Equal Rights and got Ted Olson and David Boies to team up to fight Prop 8.

We didn’t lose him, he was taken. Makes it so much worse.
An incredible list. Losing Rob Reiner is a tragedy on so many levels. #RIP

So horible. And the last I saw him was on MeTV an hour or so ago AS Mike Stivik in a hospital beat up by muggers on the All In The Family episode where his friend, a drag queen, died in the incident.

Crushing. Rob gave us so much laughter & joy. From the Smothers Brothers to "All in the Family" to wonderful movies ("Princess Bride, "Spinal Tap"). And he was a passionate progressive advocate—and a great guy, full of stories and enthusiasm, to spend time with. A horrific end to a horrific weekend.

This has to be one of the greatest runs any director has ever experienced.

So, Trump’s MTV TV Star Sean Duffy is fucking up air travel domestically and Trump’s Fox TV Star Pete Hegseth is fucking up military air travel internationally.

Republicans are idiots, dangerous and cruel idiots.
"This comprehensive rollback by Mr. Trump and congressional Republicans of Biden-era climate regulations will cause an estimated 7.6 billion tons of additional greenhouse gas emissions to be released in the coming decade, according to an analysis for The New York Times."
EV charger funding. Tax incentives to buy EVs. Permits for wind energy projects. All gone. But tax incentives to extract more oil and gas were expanded by Trump and GOP-controlled Congress. There has been victory after victory for Hamm and his group, Domestic Energy Producers, in Trump's second term

Yet idiots at @cnn called this “Trump in mourning” because he barely read the words that Melania’s staff wrote for him in the ruins and rubble of the East Wing.
This broken brained boob can’t muster even fake empathy.

"We will do nothing to hold Trump and his regime accountable for the next two years if you put us in charge" is not an inspiring message. This isn't 2017. Replacing the GOP House was *by itself* enough to derail much of Trump's agenda in 2019.

I was up in the middle of the night watching Australian news coverage.

They were asking Australians on the street for their reactions, and one of them said that, prior to today, they had only seen mass shootings through American TV footage.

What a shameful and terrible legacy our country has.

This is fucking grim. Somebody invented a white guy, an "IT professional" named Edward Crabtree, who stopped the Bondi shooting and spread it all over the internet, which was picked up by AI agents and slop aggregation sites.

The real hero is a fruit stand owner named Ahmed el Ahmed.

Wild that he's claiming they've sat on truckloads of "ammunition" (i.e., proof that the election was rigged) for five years, through 60 court cases and numerous attempts to find it, but we can count on it coming out now.

We'll see it right after his infamous healthcare plan.
Trump: The election was rigged in 2020. We have all the ammunition, all this stuff, and you'll see it come out. It’s coming out in truckloads.

This is incredible (good news too): “After a 40% fall in 2024 in battery equipment costs, it’s clear we’re on track for another major fall in 2025…The economics for batteries are unrecognizable, & the industry is only just getting to grips with this new paradigm”

Batteries now cheap enough to make dispatchable solar economically feasible
Energy think tank Ember says utility-scale battery costs have fallen to $65/MWh outside China and the United States, enabling solar power to be delivered when needed.
