Discovered today that my favourite Tom Stoppard play, Arcadia, is having a short revival at the Old Vic in Spring 2026. So, I've just planned a weekend trip just to make sure I can see it.

Audience culture is the worst it's ever been, I swear to god. People forgot how to act. I'm at the theater, trying to enjoy my show, which I've paid GOOD MONEY for, and these two old assholes are in the balcony heckling the life out of the poor bear onstage. Not letting him finish a single joke.

I'd missed this while I was ill, and just caught it. Sneaky buggers have also made it that spellcheck won't work without their shitty AI, but just go without it.
If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."
There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

Absolutely horrible crossing to Rotterdam. Not sure if it was seasickness (which I’ve never had) or food poisoning, but I had a huge bout of vomiting halfway through the night and feel like someone has spent the rest of the night beating me up.

Settled on the floating off-brand Wetherspoons to Rotterdam.
