A gamer, I mostly lurk and rarely post. Lately feeling compelled to be political. Probably something to do with the daily threats from the fascists across the border. Defend Canada, defend Ukraine, defend democracy, and get America out of our countries.
Here in Canada we absolutely want to do more and send more to help, but Ukraine has also taught us a critical lesson. Do not assume a vicious dictator won't do something crazy. Trump's threats are still hanging over us, we need to keep focus there too.

Yes, this is my overwhelming impression listening to it. He repeatedly demanded full ownership of Greenland, and made an explicit threat to punish the Europeans if they don't give in. He then threatened to punish Canada over its prime minister's speech!
If you're only reading headlines and see "Trump Says He Won't Use Force" it will give you a misimpression of both how bellicose this speech is and how dug in he is on Greenland.

This really is the issue, Trump fundamentally believes Russia has a right to Ukraine as long as they are strong enough to take it. He's literally a rapist, he clearly doesn't believe that no means no. We need to confront these dictators together.
